Tell the Smithsonian…

Defending the Smithsonian
The Trump administration has initiated a review of seven Smithsonian museums and is threatening to cut federal funding unless exhibits, especially those related to slavery, civil rights, and other struggles against oppression, are altered to align with the administration’s oppressive and white supremacist ideology. As a result, the Indivisible BIPOC caucus is fighting back.

We’ve launched a new Call to Action (CTA) that allows you to directly contact the Smithsonian Board of Regents to oppose Trump’s interference.

We’re being loud about not supporting his authoritarian takeover or the erasure of our history. Our Smithsonian CTA has space for you to leave your own comments in addition to urging the Board to publicly affirm its commitment to truthful representation. Please share the Smithsonian CTA with your network and ask for others to share their concerns with the Board of Regents.
